Usage | It is also known as DDP. The use of this B-stage resin coated paper increases the short circuit strength of distribution transformer coils. It is produced by coating modified epoxy resin in diamond dot patterns on electrical insulating paper. The size of the dots are carefully designed to avoid interfering with vacuum drying and oil impregnation. This type of presspaper is treated chemically and included nitrogen content to get a upgraded thermo performance. |

Features: DIAMOND DOTTED PAPER (DIAMOND DOTTED PAPER) is commonly known as dotted paper. It is a special modified epoxy resin in the shape of diamond coating on electrical insulation paper insulation material. It is widely used in interlayer insulation and turn insulation of oil-immersed power transformer. When used, the coating layer begins to melt at a certain temperature during the coil drying process, resulting in adhesion. As the temperature rises, it begins to cure again, so that the adjacent layers of the winding are reliably bonded into a fixed unit. The bonding strength of the epoxy resin is sufficient to prevent the displacement of each layer of the winding during short circuit, thus ensuring the long-term mechanical and electrical properties of the insulation structure..
Usage:
Diamond pattern paper made of Kraft paper coated with heat curable epoxy resin.The epoxy adhesive is applied to both sidesof the paper in a diamond pattern consisting of 9.5mm x9.5mm diamonds with 15.9mm center spacing.,the Diamond dotted Paper is to be used in oil-immersed transformers for the insulation between of coils. On the insulation layer, there is a layer dotted epoxy resin that will be changed with high temperature change that is to be called as felt. It is a kind of material with inertia, dry and no conglutination at normal temperature (below 30ºC). The Diamond Dotted Paper (DDP) will make the electric condctor forever felt up as a hard unit under the high temperature by its internal latency substance When the temperature is rising up to 90ºC, The Diamond Pattern Paper (DDP)begins one-off thaw and then one-off solidification. |
